How we pick products

Recommendations are based on what actually fits the task — the right tool for the job, the right soil for the plant, the right grow light for the space. We don’t recommend something because it pays a higher commission. If two products do the same job and one pays us less, we still recommend whichever one we’d actually use ourselves.

Where this applies

Affiliate links can appear anywhere on the site: on calculator pages, in resource guides, and inside blog articles. The same rule applies everywhere — we only link to things we think are worth your money, and we tell you when a link is affiliate.
